John A. Kiehn 64, of Fort Lupton, passed away at home on March 6th after a brief battle with cancer.
John was born January 13, 1949 in Newton, Iowa. He attended Harrison High School in Evansville, Indiana as well as Indiana University before moving to Colorado with his family. He resided in Colorado for 45 years.
John is greatly loved by his family, friends and neighbors. He will be remembered for his generous and caring disposition, love of animals and his ability to create beautiful landscaping, which was appreciated by many. John’s greatest joy was travelling. He travelled from coast to coast and he was particularly fond of the ocean.
John is survived by his mother; Irene Kiehn, siblings Kristen Kiehn-Richter of Black Hawk, Colorado; Suzi Kiehn of Alameda California; Joe Kiehn of Grand Junction, Colorado and his four legged companion Mac Boogie.
