Johanna DeYoung age 91, of DeMotte, IN passed away on December 21, 2010 at Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village in DeMotte, IN.
She was born on May 2, 1919 in DeMotte, IN to Fred and Essie (Sekema) Hoffman, both deceased. Johanna was a graduate of DeMotte High School Class of 1938. On September 27, 1940 she married Harry DeYoung, who passed away December 12, 2000. She had worked years ago at Hillcrest Foot Care and was an active member of the American Reformed Church all her life. Johanna is survived by her loving children; Deborah (Robert) Rajsic of Porter, IN; Laurel DeYoung, DeMotte, IN and JoEllen DeYoung, Beecher, IN. Grandson, Beau Rajsic. Sisters, Mildred “Babe” Abbring, Wheatfield and E. Jean Peterson, DeMotte, IN.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry and a daughter Rebecca.
