JoHanna Boyle, age 56, of Algona, passed away peacefully with her family present on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City. JoHanna Denise Boyle, the daughter of Paul and Rojeanne (Norland) Westerlund, was born on August 23, 1963 in Ft. Benning, GA. On August 27, 1994, JoHanna was united in marriage to Brian Boyle. She was a florist at Gardens Gate, Hy-vee and the Forest City Green House. JoHanna also was a direct care provider in Cottage Grove, MN, Clear Lake and Forest City. JoHanna loved to go camping, gardening, arranging flowers, fishing, making crafts and most of all she loved her grandchildren. JoHanna is survived by her husband of 25 years, Brian of Algona; sons, Matt Symonds and his significant other Megan Prentice of Algona and Nick Symonds and his significant other Melissa Orr; daughters, Holly Ryan of Algona and Erin Ryan of Algona; grandchildren, Caitlin, Hayden, Jasmine and a grandson on the way; sisters, Jeanna (Scott) Perschbacher of Algona and Paula Bernhard (Shane Zwiefel) of Lone Rock and brother Sam Monson of Titonka. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Amy Jo Ryan and Ashley Ryan and a sister, Eve Monson.
