Joel M. Dobbs, 92, of Ft. Oglethorpe, died Friday, November 11, 2016 in a local health care facility.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years: Freda Dobbs, Ft. Oglethorpe; a son: Daniel (Anne) Dobbs, Vonore, TN; 3 daughters: Janet Cooper, and Susan (Tommy) Henderson, both of Chickamauga, and Linda (Don) Powell, Chattanooga; and a sister: Vivian Hughes, Ft. Oglethorpe; a nephew: Terry (Teresa) Hughes, Ft. Oglethorpe; 8 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
