Joel was born in New York City and in the past 7 years Norman, OK became his beloved home. He spent 8 amazing years married to the love of his life Sarah. He was an amazing daddy to his one-year-old son Milo. There was no one like Joel. He was a fierce protector of those he loved, tender hearted and compassionate, full of life with a laugh like no other. He loved Jesus with all of his heart and the biggest desire of his life was that “all would see how great is our God” through him. He fought so very hard and we his family are so proud of him. We honor his life and the mighty man of God that he was. Not a day will go by that he will not be remembered and celebrated. We know that he is in heaven with Jesus, his parents and holding his child that we never got to meet on this earth. We know that one day we will see him again and oh, what a celebration that will be. Joel is survived by his wife Sarah and son Milo and numerous family and friends.
