Joel C. Reed, age 80, died Thursday October 20, 2011 at his residence in Burlington Township. Mr. Reed was born in Burlington and remained a lifelong residence. He was employed by Public Service Electric and Gas Co. for 34 years until his retirement in 1993.
He was a longtime active member of the Broad St. United Methodist Church in Burlington. He will be most remembered however as a loving family man. He is survived by his wife Jeanette (nee Loveman), his daughters and son in law JoAnn and Tom Repici and Janice Zeitler, his grandchildren; Tom (Kathy) Repici, Jr., Joelynn (Steven) Owens, Justin Zeitler and Shawn Zeitler, his great grandchildren Sydney and Connor Owens and Adeline Miller, and his brother; Dr. Samuel Reed.
