Joeann Wright Willey, 73 of Rising Sun, MD, passed peacefully Sunday, August 24, 2014 at home surrounded by her beloved family.
Born in Vienna, VA, on August 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Hattie Wright.
Mrs. Willey retired from DuPont Co. after 28 years of service in the Human Resources and Benefits Department.
She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her farm, horses, and critters.
Survivors include her beloved husband: VanDoran E. Willey; their children: Michael Willey (Annette) of Smyrna, DE, Matthew Willey (Andrea) of Colora, MD, Sheila Booth (Brian) of Gretna, LA and Janet Storch of Middletown, DE; two brothers: Ray Wright of Lovingston, VA, Charlie Wright of Front Royal, VA; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
