Joe was a mechanic and loved cars. He was born January 16, 1943 in Crawfordsville to Howard and Perceyenne Rarig Shelton. He was married to Earleen Shelton in 1985, she passed away in April 2013.
He is survived by his daughter Christy (Chuck) Crowder, Stepdaughter Shawna (Brian) Luke, Brother Larry Shelton, Sister Rosemary Tanner, and Marjorie Thompson.
Joe also has 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
