Joe O. Drew. 77, of Upton, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 in the Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL after a brief illness. He was the husband of Dorothy L. (Rivers) Drew.
Mr. Drew was born in Burke, VT, the son of the late Harry and Thelma (Laclair) Drew. He had lived in Upton since 1955 and worked as a spray painter for Croft Typo Screen in Upton for 22 years until retiring about 13 years ago. He spent winters in Seminole, FL since 2004.
In addition to his wife of 57 years, he leaves five children, Carol Bishop of Charlestown, RI, Joan Davis of Milford, Linda Grondin of Uxbridge, and Joseph Drew and Bonnie Lopez of Upton; a brother, Harry Drew of FL; five sisters, Florence Rivers of Upton, Dorothy Thatcher and Nancy Fenner of Whitinsville, Betty Lambert of CT, and Shirley Nyquist of Uxbridge; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
