Joe Allen Farmer, age 93, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021. He was born in Slocomb, AL on July 16, 1928, to Henry Grady Farmer and Mary Ellen Spivey.
Dr. Farmer was preceded in death by his parents Mary Ellen and Grady Farmer, and his brother, Jim Farmer. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Janice Farmer, his daughters: Diane Edwards and husband Bob, Pam Byrd and husband Warren, grandchildren: Andi Hoskins-Williams, Nick Byrd and life partner, Kimberly Ross, and Courtney Byrd-Henley. Also surviving are his great-grandchildren, Presli Williams, Lily Reese Henley, Brody Byrd and Sabry Byrd. Dr. Farmer is also survived by one sister, Martha Kyser.
