Obituary of Joe Elizalde
Joe Elizalde age 89, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Covenant Cooper. Joe was born March 20, 1929 in Carrollton, Michigan the son of Luther and Maria (Moreno) Elizalde. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe was united in marriage to the former Frances Perez in 1954.
Joe was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #4232 and the American Legion Post #500. He enjoyed spending time out at the Independence Village in Frankenmuth with his special friend, Shirley Lounsberry. Joe also enjoyed spending time outside; whether it was gardening, yardwork or just listening to his music.
Joe is survived by his children; Stephen, Clifford (Kelly) and David Elizalde, grandchildren; JoAnn, Kyle, Kari, and Kaley Elizalde special friend; Shirley Lounsberry, sister; Judy Elizalde and several nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife; Frances and granddaughter; Cami Elizalde.
