Joe Edward Workman of Manassas, VA, 84, passed away on July 27, 2024. Born on November 9, 1939, in Caretta, WV, he grew up in Hinton. He served in the Army National Guard during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Seeking opportunity, he brought his family to Washington DC. With his exceptional engineering skills and shrewd negotiating abilities, he rose to the position of Vice President of a leading developer in the Washington area. Joe is survived by his wife Lynda, sons Mark, Justin (Melinda), and grandchildren, Savannah and Wyatt Workman. Also surviving are Joe’s sister, Phyllis Vest, his niece, Rebecca Bolt, and his nephews Greg Oden, Jason Bolt, and Joshua Brown. Also surviving are his daughter, Sandra Stratoudakis, and her family members.
