Mr. Joe Clayton Gray, 87, of Newnan, formerly of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born July 12, 1927 in Unionville, Missouri to the late Jay Allen Gray & Mary Magdalene Gray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 5 siblings and his daughter, Pat Slater. Mr. Gray was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a district manager with Southern Bell after a long career. After moving to Newnan, he and his wife joined Unity Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Lucille Dennis Gray; daughter, Debra Horne; grandchildren, Clay (Brittany) Horne, Tyler (Cori) Horne, Seth Horne & fiancee, Meg Nelson; and 5 great-grandchildren.
