Joe Beckley passed away in Clay City on June 26th 2020 at the age of 55. Joe was born in Greenfield Indiana on August 3rd 1964. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1982, and went on to join the army and specialize in field artillery. In his early years, he worked for Lane Northern of Indianapolis.
Joe is preceded in death by his father, Charles Beckley and father-in-law, Billy Chadwell.
Joe is survived by his wife, Marie Beckley, of 26 years; mother, Patty Beckley (Harold); and mother-in-law, Kathy Chadwell. Joe is lovingly remembered by his children: Travis Beckley (Krystal), Erin Moore (Michael), Dani Hobbs (Gabe), Amanda Beckley, Cole Beckley (Taylor), and Lane Beckley (Megan); grandchildren: Kaela, Jaxson, Callee, Madison, Wyatt, Liam, Rylee, Charlie, Emerson, Gavin, Gabby, Cash, Rowen, Kennedy, Kinley; siblings, Bruce and Lori Hunt (Joe); brothers-in-law Keith Chadwell (Kerry), Mike Chadwell and several nieces and nephews.
We will be having a more private celebration for close friends and family at 5:30 p.m.
