Jody Jacks, 86, of Terre Haute, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 21, 2020 while listening to the song ‘Soon and Very Soon.’ Her firm belief in God gave her and her family a sense of peace and comfort. Her final days were spent listening to her favorite hymns and being covered by the prayers of those that loved her.
Jody was born on August 31, 1933, in Terre Haute, to George Herald Fleschner and Bertha Ellen Walls Fleschner and they have preceded her in death.
Second to her love for her Lord, was her love for her family. She was married to her sweetheart James D. Jacks on March 26, 1954. They were married for 65 years until his death last April, and they have been reunited just in time for their 66th anniversary.
