JoAnne Ruth O’Brien, 67, of Terra Alta. died Saturday, August 20, 2016, at her home with family by her side.
She was born August 24, 1948, in Terra Alta, a daughter of the late Ray Otis Lewis and Edna Mae Teets and her step-mother, the late, Sylvia (Childs) Lewis.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph H. O’Brien, Jr.; her son, Travis M. O’Brien; her daughter, JoLeen D. Haskiell and husband, Tony; three grandchildren, Ethan, Tanner and Jared Haskiell and her sister, Helen Meckley, all of Terra Alta.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph C. Lewis, Wellington Paul Lewis and Willard Glenn Teets, Sr.; a sister, Scharline Rae Maczka and a grandson, William Henry Haskiell.
