Joanne Schuchardt, a Deming resident, and local artist passed away on April 13 at her home. Joanne was born January 4, 1937, in Providence, RI to Howard and Mary (Merrigan) Thorpe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Schuchardt, with whom she enjoyed 42 years of marriage.
She is survived by her children Anne, Christine, Patricia, and Dean, and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
