Joanne L (Santos) Perry, 83, of West Wareham passed peacefully at the Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion on December 27th, in Plymouth, MA on September 8, 1938, Joanne was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose (Costa) Santos. She was raised in Carver and attended Carver Schools. Joanne had worked as a screener serving Ocean Spray Inc., for over 20 years.Joanne had many hobbies; she enjoyed playing BINGO, visiting yard sales and local craft markets, and shopping on QVC to name a few. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family as well as listening and dancing to Cape Verdean music.Joanne was the loving mother of Rudolph Perry, Jr of Taunton, MA, Larry (Cynthia) Perry of Yarmouth, MA, Ricky (Tanya) Perry of Wareham, MA, Cheryl (Philip) Cardoza of Lakeville, MA, Rhoda (Gary) Franklin of East Hampton, CT, and the late Roxanne (Orlando) Costa. She was the beloved sister of August Santos of Carver, MA, Robert (Barbara) Santos of Plympton, MA, the late Roger Santos, Sr., Irma Fernandes of Wareham, MA, Rosalie Porche of New Bedford, MA, and the late Gertrude Silva and Bertha Molina. She was half-sister of Lourenso Gomes Santos of the Cape Verde Islands. She loved and cherished her numerous grand- and great-grandchildren. Joanne also leaves the father of her children Rudolph Perry, Sr. of Carver, MA and fondly remembered her beloved companion the late Robert Paulding.
