WALLINGFORD – JoAnne Farkash, 64, of Wallingford, departed this life on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford.
JoAnne was born on June 9, 1946 in New Haven, daughter of the late Joseph and Viola (Esposito) Rubino. She worked as a Paraprofessional with the Wallingford School District and at Rosa’s Deli.
JoAnne’s greatest legacy was her ability to nurture people and she bestowed a positive influence on so many. She was a very independent woman raising her three sons on her own. In her later years, her grandchildren were a source of extraordinary joy. She’s remembered for her warm heart, sense of humor, and love of life.
