JoAnne C. Hardy, age 77, of Dowagiac, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, July 14, 2016 in Dowagiac, Michigan.JoAnne was born March 10, 1939 in Shelby, Michigan the daughter of Byron and Dorothy (McCuen) Curtis. She married Richard Hardy on April 10, 1976 in Watervliet, Michigan.
He preceded her in death June 28, 2003. JoAnne was also preceded in death by her parents; her son Leonard Goodrich; and her daughter LaNelle Goodrich. JoAnne will be remembered for loving to spend time with her grandchildren, especially having the great-grandbabies around. She always enjoyed having fellowship with everyone. She loved talking about the Bible. JoAnne was known for having written poems. She enjoyed playing keyboard and singing. She always liked working a jigsaw puzzle. JoAnne will be greatly missed by family and friends.
JoAnne is survived by her daughters: Laurie Dyer from Texas and Linda Swisher from Michigan; her grandsons, the Goodrich boys: Sonny (Danielle), Josh (Tammy), Alex, Christopher, Adam; her grandsons, the Swisher boys: Matthew (Sandy), Chad (Sarah), Tony (Courtney); her granddaughter Theresa (John Robinson); her 20 great-grandchildren, 4 of whom are under a year old; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
