Joanna Lee (Bailey) Fortin, 93, of Cromwell, wife of the late William L. Fortin, Jr., passed away on Saturday, January 30th at Pilgrim Manor. Born in Danville, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Orrin and Violet (Williams) Bailey, where she grew up a farm girl developing her deep affection for riding, especially her horse, Tarzan. Joanna was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy as a WAVE, where she met her husband.
