Joanna Behringer, 50, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019, at her home. She was born June 15, 1969, in Mishawaka, Indiana, the daughter of James Barnes, Sr., and Linda (Gillean) Barnes. She married Tracy Behringer on April 21, 1990, in Grayslake, Illinois and he survives in Centralia.
In addition to her mother: Linda Barnes of South Bend, Indiana, she is also survived by her husband of 29 years: Tracy Behringer of Centralia; a daughter: Brittany Behringer-Wright, and husband Zacary of Irvington; a grandson: Declan Wright of Irvington; a brother: James Barnes, Jr. and wife Nashell of Mishawaka, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father: James Barnes, Sr., grandparents, a nephew, and several cousins. Joanna enjoyed playing Bingo, watching Housewives, and playing games on the computer. She was an avid Notre Dame Football Fan. She also enjoyed going Clearance Shopping. Joanna loved her dogs: Pepper, Jake, Cooper, Aspen, Sam, and Buddy. She cherished the time she spent with her grandson, family, and friends.
