Muncie – Joann Edds, 82, passed away Monday, April 5, 2014, at her son’s residence in Nashville following an extended illness.
Joann was born in Muncie on October 30, 1931, the daughter of Milo and Margaret (Moore) York, and attended Muncie Central High School.

Survivors include her six children, Charles E. Roberts, Arkansas, David Michael Roberts, (wife-Alice), Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, Mark Steven Roberts, Pennville, Toni Lynn Boyle, (husband-David), Palm Harbor, Florida, Eddie Edds, (wife-Pamela), Nashville, and Douglas Eugene Edds, (fiancé-Melissa Johnson), Nashville; two brothers, Bob York, and Terry York; three sisters, Wanda Herbert, Rosemary Davis (husband-Bill), and Sharon Chisman, (husband-Bob); 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Lewis Edds; a brother, Gene Moore, and a sister, Betty Valandingham.
