For 30 years, she spent the winter in Florida and made a lot of friends there during that time. Her favorite past time by far was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and she knew where to find the best garage sales.
Joann leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Walter Van Caeseele; children Robert (Linda) Van Caeseele, and Lorraine (Jeff) Cummings. She also leaves behind her absolute favorites, those that called her “Gram,” five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Commisso; and brother, Dominic Commisso.
Joann was predeceased by her brother, Michael Commisso.
