Joann Stewart Howard, 83, of Kingwood died Friday, December 25, 2015 at Pine Ridge Nursing Facility in Kingwood with family by her side.
She was born August 6, 1932, in Preston County, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Beatrice Trowbridge Stewart.
She was a loving wife, mother and sister, a member of the St Sebastian Catholic Church in Kingwood and the church Alter Society.
Mrs. Howard is survived by her husband of 65 years, Monte David Howard, Sr.; three sons, Monte D. Howard, Jr. and wife, Brenda Kay and Randal J. (Randy) Howard and wife, Mishell, all of Kingwood and Robert G. Howard and wife, Debi of Columbia, MO; a brother, Darrell Stewart and wife, Maureen of Kingwood; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, John K. Howard, two brothers, Rick Stewart and Reverend Bill Stewart and two sisters, Sandra Stewart and Doris Engels.
