Passed away Tuesday morning, October 4, 2016. JoAnn was born March 20, 1937 in McKenzie, TN the daughter of the late Carlos and F. Loree (Pickler) Laster. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at Portage Central High School. JoAnn was a member of the 12th Street Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, bingo, and trips to the casino.
She loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s various sporting events. On August 18, 1952 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, James Mannon, Jr, who preceded her in death on January 8, 1996.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Laster. JoAnn is survived by her children, Patricia (Robert) Price, Kenneth Mannon, Bobby (Michelle) Mannon, Loree (Joe) Babcock; 8 grandchildren, Chad (Erin) Price, Amanda (Jason) Headley, Kate (Matt) Sopjes, Nicholas Mannon, Brooke (Dustin) Cousins, Zachary (Jacquelyn) Babcock, Eric Babcock, and Evan Babcock; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
