Joann E. (Ford) Kline, age 85, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away peacefully Monday morning 5/23/2022.
Joann was born on 5/22/1937 to the late Frederick & Christena (Salter) Hanson in Muskegon, MI. At age 21 she met and married Howard “Tommy” Ford. Together they had 2 children, Christina Enochs & Samuel Ford, 5 grandchildren, Leona (Kevin) Koszyk, Beth (Tony) Farrer, Megan (Lee) Motz, Boe (Hannah) Ford, Dustin Ford, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was a mother figure & spiritual leader to many. Honorable mention of in-laws she raised & loved as her own children, Henry, Betty, Jack & David Ford.
Joann & her husband founded & pastored the United Pentecostal Church of Acts 4:12 in Bremen, IN. Rev. H.T. Ford passed away on October 29, 2002.
In 2004 Joann moved to South Bend, IN to be closer to her granddaughter Leona & attended the same church together. There she met Rev. Jay R. Kline & they married on February 21, 2009. They had many happy years together & then in 2019 she found out she had cancer. She battled it bravely with loved ones by her side. Honorable mention of her step-son Robby Kline & his wife Jacki for the love & care she received from them.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rev. H.T. Ford, son-in-law Thomas I. Enochs, grandson-in-law Joseph Long, sisters Shirley Frenette, Eleanor DeVries and her brother Louis Hanson. Sisters-in-law Betty Coley, Irene Balentine, Laverne Stafford, Faye Jones, Emma Jean Hoese, Debbie Deeds. Brothers-in-law Eddie Lee, Jack & Joe Ford.
