Joan Mae Flowers, 83, of Frankton, passed away July 23, 2017 at Community Hospital Anderson, surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 21, 1934 in Daleville to the late Arthur and Sarah Richman. Joan graduated from St. Mary’s School in Anderson. She worked several years at Guide Lamp where she worked in production. She attended St. Mary’s and St. Ambrose Catholic Church’s in Anderson. She was the mother to five sons with whom she loved to play sports. She loved sports which was a blessing because she was the mother of five sons.
Joan is survived by her four sons, Ron Barkdull of Markleville, John Barkdull of Anderson, Mark (Fiancee Rhonda Cassidy) Campbell of Muncie, Steve (Dawna) Campbell of Anderson; sister, Carolyn Belcher; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father, Arthur Richman, mother, Sarah Richman, husband, Gene Flowers; son, Dwain Campbell, Jr.
