Joan Irene Murphy (nee: Purdy) of Southampton passed away on Friday at the age of 77. She was born in Burlington and was a longtime Burlington area resident and lifelong member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. She worked for and retired from the ARC of Burlington County as a residential aide.
She is survived by her daughter Carole Parkerson, a son William “Bill” (Susan) Murphy; granddaughter Jessica A. (David) Ahearn; great grandchild Rhett Ahearn; sisters Lois Heinrich and Frances Firestein.
