Joan Dewees (nee Cicalese), of Blackwood, NJ passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Theodore E. Dewees, Sr., a devoted mother to five, Theodore, Jr. (Barbara), James (Debbie), Debra Trasatti (Ernie), Joanette Garozzo (John), Denise Busch (Rich), adoring grandmother to twelve, Tina, the late Theodore, III, James, Jr., Stefanie, Renee, Michael, Dionna, Nicolette, John, Rich, Anthony and Aliya and many great-grandchildren. Joan is survived by many sisters, a brother and many nieces and nephews.
Joan enjoyed being a mother and grandmother most of all, but made sure she was always on the go. Joan loved dancing, bingo, creating and making the most of every holiday. She was a kid at heart and enjoyed watching everyone have as much fun as she was having. Joan was a fun spirit with a kind heart and was always giving to others. She was full of life and truly enjoyed the excitement of every adventure.
Rest in peace Mom, you are finally home with your beloved Ted. It was my honor to take care of you all of these years and only hope I was able to bring you as much joy as you have brought to me growing up. (dt)
