Joan (Sener) Correll, 74 of Centralia, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 22, 1943 in Minto, North Dakota, daughter of Ray Sener and Vereta (Mitts) Sener. She married James “Jim” Correll on December 1, 1962 and he survives in Centralia.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, James “Jim” Correll of Centralia, she is also survived by two sons: Russell Correll and Robin of Walnut Hill and James Correll and wife Connie of Centralia; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a step-brother: Billy Sener of Potlach, Idaho.
She is preceded in death by her parents and step-mother: Nell Sener. Joan was a member of the Wamac Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed volunteering at the Wamac Missionary Baptist Church Food Pantry. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.
