Loving mother of Mark (Cindy) Ipema, Paul (Karin) Ipema, Caroline (Mike) Bultema, David (Patricia) Ipema, and Daniel (Kimberly) Ipema. Grandmother of 17; great-grandmother of 7.
Dear sister of the late Ruth (late Ted) Beenes, late John (Sophie) Jongsma, and Marilyn (late Rich) Drenth. Sister in-law of the late Henry (late Annamae) Ipema, Annette (late Peter) Kamp, late Harry (late Ann) Ipema, Bernice (late Jim) Schaver, Charlotte (Ron) Sol, Edward (Vicki) Ipema, and Ken (Joyce) Ipema. Aunt to numerous nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Bertha Jongsma. Joan was a member of the Lynwood United Reformed Church where she served as a church organist for many years.
