Joan Beth JuddAge 88 of Juddville passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Memorial Healthcare. Joan was born October 25, 1928 in Highland Park, Michigan. She was the daughter of Harry and Pearl Etienne. Joan graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Highland Park Junior College for two years. She married Herb Judd on June 17, 1950 in Fairbanks, Alaska while he served in the Air Force at Eileson Field. After finishing his tour of duty with the Air Force the young family made their home in Hazelton Township. Joan was a member of the New Lothrop Order of Eastern Stars #312 and the Juddville United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and served as the church treasurer for many years. She enjoyed square dancing with Herb, water aerobics, painting watercolors, china painting and other artistic crafts. Joan worked for Corunna Public Schools as a secretary in the High School Library and Superintendent’s Office until retirement. Then she began babysitting her grandchildren living near her. Joan was dedicated to her family. She always looked forward to developing strong personal relationships with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joan enjoyed her winter vacations with Herb in Okeechobee and visiting their Florida is survived by her husband of 66 years; children Walter (Beverly) Judd, Renee Webster, Randel (Marsha) Judd, and Aileen (David) Robertson; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers Dr. Harry (Kay) Etienne, and William (Karen) Etienne; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving was predeceased by her parents, stepmother Hermine Etienne, brother John Baptiste (Jack) Etienne.
