Joan A. Kaleycik, 68, of Freemansburg, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Thomas J. Kaleycik, Sr. for 46 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John and Victoria (Martucci) Bednarik. Joan worked in the school cafeteria for the Bethlehem Area School District for many years and also at the snack bar at Town and Country Bowling Lanes in Bethlehem. She loved to cook for her family. She was a former member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church where she enjoyed being a lector and singing in the choir. Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her husband; son Thomas J. Kaleycik, Jr. and his wife Letty of Hanover Twp. and Richard J. Kaleycik and his wife Stephanie of South Whitehall; brother John A. Bednarik and his wife Rosemarie of Bethlehem; grandchildren Victoria, Steven, Kristin, Hannah; nephews and godsons John and Adam Bednarik.
