JoAnn Theresa Pettigrew, 83 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Solaris Healthcare. She was born in Miami, Florida to the late Alexander J. Goode and Essie Luverne Fillingim Goode. Mrs. Pettigrew had made Lake City her home since 1988 having moved here from Palm Bay, Florida, where she had been a longtime resident. She was of the Baptist faith and was currently attending The Orchard at SouthRidge in Lake City. Mrs.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Bob Pettigrew, Lake City; one son, Dan Pettigrew, Lake City; one daughter, Debbie Newkirk (Bill), Hendersonville, NC; three grandchildren, Austin Pettigrew (Kristin), St. Augustine, T.J. Newkirk, Hendersonville, NC and Will Newkirk (Sara), Franklin, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Cooper Pettigrew and Abram Newkirk also survive.
