Jimmie Lee Ashcraft Sr., 69, of Clarksburg, WV passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born August 1, 1944 in Clarksburg, WV; son of the late Lee Ashcraft and Catherine Anna Kovar Shaffer. Jimmie was preceded in death by his father Lee Ashcraft and lifelong friend and ex-wife Frances Rinebold. He is survived by his mother Catherine Anna Kovar Shaffer; three sons Walter Lee Ashcraft of Clarksburg, Jimmie Lee Ashcraft Jr of Clarksburg, Kenneth W. Ashcraft of Bridgeport; one brother Woodrow Wilson Shaffer of Ohio; three sisters Glennie Woodruff of Texas, Judy Ashcraft of Clarksburg, Cookie Harper of Ohio; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Jimmie was an Army veteran and spent his life as a residential and commercial painter. He loved Cars, Kids, Elvis Presley and he especially loved to laugh.
