Jimmie L. Brett died March 3, 2013, at his home with his wife of 50 years, Inez, at his side in the Seminole Community of Niceville, Fla. He was born Jan. 22, 1938, in Vienna, Ga., to the late John Dees Brett Jr. and Myra Howard Brett. He enlisted into the U.S. Air Force in Aiken, S.C., and had duty stations in St. Louis, Mo., Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Ga., and Tatalina Radar Station, Alaska.
He is survived by his loving wife, Inez W. Brett; one daughter, Barbara; and two grandsons, Wesley and Patrick.
