Mr. Jim Pellegrino, 91, of Newnan passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at his home. He was born March 13, 1924 in Bronx, NY to the late Giovani Pellegrino and Pasqua Azzara Pellegrino.

Mr. Pellegrino served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and the Korean War. He was a brick mason by trade and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mr. Pellegrino wasn’t a formally educated man but was a lifelong learner who spoke Italian, English, Spanish, and Sardo.

Survivors include wife, Pamela Longmire Pellegrino; children, Kim Pellegrino, Pam Pellegrino Smith, Gina Pellegrino Pollard, Janet McDaniel, Ronald Keillor, Howard Keillor; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
