Jim “JD” Scott, 65 of Centralia, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital in Centralia. He was born December 20, 1950 in Salem, son of Curt and Eva Scott. He married Pam Self on December 18, 2004 and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 12 years, he is also survived by a son, JD Scott and wife Cheryl; a step son, Chris Rowcliff and wife Susie; a step-daughter, Cindy Timmons and husband Rob; seven grandchildren: Marcus Miller, Lindsey Miller, Ryan Miller, Skyler Burkett, Blake George, Chase Rowcliff, and Easton Stratton; a great-granddaughter, Mariah Miller; eight brothers and sisters: Bill Scott of Mt. Machensey Park, Linda Rush of Effingham, Virginia Adams of Robinson, Betty Kile of Annapolis, Peggy Flood of Vandalia, Debbie Price of Robinson, Danny Scott of Robinson, and Lesa Crouse of Robinson; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Walter and Kathy Salyers and Vikki Foster Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Kenneth Scott and Larry Scott, and a granddaughter, Alexis Miller.JD worked for Affton Trucking of St. Louis, MO for 16 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley, going Junking, and working in the yard. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends in his Man Cave.
