Jim Burke, 76, of Salem, beloved husband of Beverly Jane (Whitcher) Burke, passed away Friday (July 31, 2015) at Hartford Hospital. Born August 4, 1938 in New Haven, he was a son of the late John and Florence (Clark) Burke. A 1956 graduate of Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven, he went on to study at the CT State Technical College.
