Jill Christeen Spengler, 43, passed away on September 10, 2009, surrounded by family, after a courageous and graceful battle with breast cancer. Jill was born February 1, 1966, in Des Moines Iowa to Connie Jo Wells and Tom Haberman. Her parents divorced in 1972 and Jill continued to live with her father and sister. In 1979 she moved to Helotes and has lived in the area since. During her teen years, Jill found a second home at Ellas”s Beauty Salon in Helotes. There she met her life-time friend and surrogate mother, Sally Simpson, now Sally Przybylski. In 2000 she married the love of her life, Greg Spengler, and is survived by him and their children Gregory and C.J and CJs husband Tim Nolan. Other survivors include her father and mother Tom & Sharon Haberman; sister, Molly Haberman; half sisters Dana and Dyann Roberts; Aunt Jane Haberman, Mother in law Carol Spengler, Sister in law, Kelly and her husband Claude McKerney. Other survivors include step sisters and their families, step aunts and a step grandmother. Her loss will leave a hole in many hearts and lives.
