Our beloved Jia Elaine Hamiter Satterfield was born on October 3,1968. She was the daughter of John and Helen Hamiter.
Jia completed her primary education at St.
Jia went on to pursue a career as a Nurse’s Aid. While a Nurse’s Aid, she worked at Community Hospital for seventeen years. She also worked as a Home Health Care Nurse for five years. She was a loving, kind and caregiving person for all of her geriatric patients, something she was passionate about.
Jia Elaine Satterfield departed this life for eternal life on September 20, 2019. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Hamiter; her son, Joshua Harold Satterfield; her only brother, Vargas Jay Hamiter; and father John L. Hamiter.
Jia Elaine Satterfield is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, David Harold Satterfield; her beloved son, David Jay Satterfield; step-daughter, Aurelia Satterfield; grandchildren, Joshua David Satterfield and Yelaena Satterfield, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
