Mrs. Geraldean Conkle Hunter, 85, of Newnan passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Newnan Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born February 26, 1930 in DeKalb County, AL to the late Mack Conkle & Thelma McClung Conkle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Wayland Hunter, brother Malcolm Brice Conkle, sisters Burnell McCallister, Gail Davis Pearl.
Geraldean was a charter member of Victory Tabernacle church which later became Born Again Ministries. She was retired from Equifax in Atlanta.
She is survived by her aunt, Doris Arthur of Ft. Payne, AL; sister, Venice May of Newnan; brother, Dawlon (Martha) Conkle of Chickamauga, GA; sister-in-law, Marie Conkle of Bryant, AL; niece, Janet (Dean) Hodge of Flat Rock, AL; nephews, Glenn (Susan) Conkle of Rossville, GA, Danny Lee (Kim) Conkle of Ringgold, GA; great-nieces, Rebecca (Jeremy) Halloway of Chattanooga, TN Marissa Conkle of Ringgold; great-nephews, Rodney Conkle, Kyle Conkle; great-great niece, Makayla Conkle of Rossville, GA; and great-great nephew, Zachary Conkle of Rossville, GA.
