Jewel Hewitt Ragsdale, age 89, of Pawnee, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents William G. Hewitt and Ollie Massey Hewitt, her sister Willie Mae Langley, and her loving husband Louie M. Ragsdale Sr. Her survivors are her son Louie M. Ragsdale Jr. (Anita). Her three grandchildren Jennifer and James Ragsdale and Jacob Lambert. Sisters Jean Lackey (Thomas), Ruth Hewitt and Doris Smith. Her Nephew Randy Lambert. She was born in Jefferson County. Jewel Ragsdale was a lifelong member of Pawnee Baptist Church.
