Jewel G. Hopper, 89 of Moberly, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Moberly Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born July 11, 1926 in Wilton, MO to Lloyd and Leona Claypool.
Prior to retirement Jewel worked for the State of Missouri Employment Office.
Survivors include her sons; Randall Hopper and wife Karen and Stacy Hopper and wife Billie all of Moberly, four grandchildren; Amy Mitchell, Brandon Eckelmann, Chris and Bruce Gilbert, several great-grandchildren, her brother, Danny Claypool of Holts Summit, MO, her companion, Harold Stanturf of Huntsville, MO , nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Denise Eckelmann, a sister, Lucille Bradley and a brother, John Grider.
