Jesus ” Jessie” Ramon Uribe Sr., 43 Loving Husband, Father, Son, and Brother entered rest in hope of eternal life, with his family by his side on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in San Diego, California. John 1:25 “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die”
Publicly known in the Yuma and Phoenix areas for his leading style of graphic arts, Jessie utilized his talents to design artwork and logos for T-Shirts, numerous companies, events, organizations, schools, as a professional screenprinter. Jessie attended Yuma High School and was a graduate of Phoenix Institute of Technology. In his younger years, he enjoyed dancing as a B-Boy for Desert Empire break dancing crew. He always remained an avid auto enthusiast and was an original member of the Latin Luxury Car Club, known for his customized convertible fuchsia colored Mazda mini truck. He also was a history buff, with particular interests of Biblical times and World War II. Of all that he enjoyed, his utmost pride and joy was raising his family. Most of his adult life was lived on the Fort Yuma Reservation amongst family and friends. He enjoyed raising his children within the Quechan community with culture and tradition.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cryselle (Montague), Son Jesus R. Uribe, Jr., Daughters Ysabella, and Eden, his parents: Juan Antonio and Rosalinda (Montiel) Uribe, his Sister: Mayra Uribe-Gonzalez, his Brothers: Pete and Juan”Johnny” Uribe, his Sister-in-laws: Juanita, Chenaura, and Ramona Rodriguez, his Brother-in-laws: Richard Montague Rodriguez, and Joseph S. Montague, his maternal Grandmother Antonia Ramirez de Montiel, his Aunts and Uncles: Carmen ( Dionicio) Aguilera, Alejandro (Lucia) Uribe, Jesus ( Maria) Uribe, Gualdalupe (Francisco) Aguirre, Rosa ( Pete) Reyes, Ruben ( Luisa) Montiel, Manuel ( Alicia) Montiel, Hector (Cecilia) Montiel, and Ahidee ( Jesus) Lizarraga. He is preceded in death by his maternal Grandfather Ramon Ruben Montiel Esquer, his paternal Grandparents Jesus Uribe Magana and Gracia Moreno de Uribe, his Uncles Norberto Montiel Ramirez, and Joel Montiel Ramirez, his Mother- in-law: Cornelia Montague, and his Father in-law Jose “JoJo” R. Rodriguez. On behalf of the Uribe family, we extend our gratitude for the outstanding care by the staff of Sharp Memorial Hospital during Jessie’s stay as an LVAD Heart patient.
