Jessie Marcella (Mc Niece) Goodreau, 87, of Fairview Nursing Center, Du Quoin, Illinois, formally of Berlin Street, Middletown, wife of the late Roger M. Goodreau passed away on Wednesday, September 24th after an extended illness. Born on December 13, 1921 in Seymour, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Jessie Agnes (Ford) Mc Niece.
Jessie worked for the Ford Motor Company in Michigan as a riveter during WWII, and as a bartender, waitress, hostess and bouncer in numerous establishments. In 1956 she moved from Kokomo, Indiana to the Middletown area where she met and married Roger.
