Jessica Ann Miles passed on from this life in her sleep on August 24th, 2010. During her short 22 years, she managed to touch the lives of many around her through her love of art, drama and her wicked sense of humor. Just being in the room with Jessica, you could feel her light and her love.

Her infectious smile was sure to bring someone even out of the worst of moods and make them laugh. Though a sufferer of bipolar, Jessica always tried to keep a positive attitude and selflessly loved those around her, even when things seemed trying. It wasn’t abnormal to receive a beautiful art work drawing from Jessica, or watch her scribble away writing poetry. In the final few months of her life, Jessica had decided to pursue a degree at Northern Arizona University and major in Sociology to help those with her disease when she graduated and minor in Photography so she could capture the beauty of the world and those around her.

She will be forever remembered as a strong willed, sincere, and loving individual who would help those around her even when she herself was mentally tormented by her disease. Jessica is now resting peacefully and able to watch over and smile down on us each and every day.

She is survived by her husband Ian, her parents Nancy and Tony, siblings Tabitha and Gene, and dozens of extended family members and friends who mourn her early passing.
