Jesse Patiño, 20, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at his home amongst those who loved him the most on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 9:59 am following a brief but courageous battle with an extended illness. He was born in Elkhart on May 27, 1999 and was the son of Juan Trinidad and Graciela Patiño, who survive him at home.

Also surviving to cherish his precious memory are his loving sisters Caroline and Cristelle Patiño; brother Gael Patiño and grandmother Elizabeth Patiño; as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

Jesse had graduated from Memorial High School in 2017. He was employed at Bennington Pontoon in Elkhart just prior to his illness, which required his early retirement. He had always hoped, however, that someday he would return back to the workforce and become a professional industrial welder. He enjoyed online gaming, Call of Duty and Super Smash Brothers Melee and Super Mario 64 were his favorites. He also liked fishing and eating steaks and buffalo wings, as he was a self-proclaimed “foodie”. Quiet, wise, strong, reserved, humbled and respectful, Jesse had a love for the simpler things in life, as well as having a healthy respect for the well-being and feelings of others.

The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the special care he was given by everyone he came across in the medical field and for the unselfish love of friends and relatives who lavished Jesse and his family with kind words and deeds, as well as supplying constant support during his illness.

We Love you, Jesse, and you will be missed.
