Jesse Noel Castaneda, 66, passed away February 16, 2022 in Ogden, Utah. He was born June 2, 1955 to Rodolofo Fransico Castaneda and Angelina Gutierrez in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Jesse served in the United States Air Force and was discharged in August of 1983. Jesse married Tami Serrano on August 30, 1980 at St. Mary’s in Ogden, Utah, they shared 39 years of unconditional love together. He was a Draftsman for Nucor steel manufacturing, retiring after 25 years. He was fond of listening to 60’s and 80’s music. He enjoyed many hobbies which included wood carving, photography and was a skilled portrait artist. He was dedicated and passionate about his family and grandchildren.
Jesse is survived by his children: Sarah (Kaleb) Kent, Madalene Castaneda (Matthew Hansen) Gabriel Castaneda, Angelica Castaneda, siblings: Maria Ramirez, Gracie Duke, Juanita Gomez, Victoria Rodriguez, Evangelina Rodriguez, Victor Castaneda, Anna Claudia Castaneda, and 8 grandchildren. He is reunited in death by the love of his life Tami Castaneda, his mother, father, and brother Rudy Jr. Castaneda.
